It's no secret that we live in a digital world. The rate of technological advancement is rapidly increasing—and, with it, the rate at which people interact with their devices. As a result, user experience (UX) strategy and design are more important than ever before.

💪 Featured work - Coastal Credit Union
Coastal Credit Union (CCU) was in the process of redesigning its digital banking app and sought to have its new designs tested and reviewed by a team of experienced UX strategists. We performed a heuristic evaluation to determine whether the app followed usability and accessibility best practices, then constructed a clickable prototype to facilitate moderated user testing. At the end of the project, we shared our analysis and testing results with the CCU team, along with our recommendations for improving the app's user experience. 💚
This month’s shoutout goes to our new client, the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG). Established in 1987, ACTG is the world’s largest and longest-running HIV clinical trials network.
Through groundbreaking research, their team seeks to improve the treatment of HIV, its co-infections, including tuberculosis and viral hepatitis, and its comorbidities. We are thrilled to be working with ACTG to deliver a new site experience.
Each quarter, our team nominates two people for our "Impact Award." This award acknowledges Savasians who truly live our values or have gone above and beyond in their job. Congratulations to our Q4 recipients, Taylor and Jayson! 🎉
“Taylor has a lot on his plate but continues to help other members of the team both on client projects and internal initiatives. He is clear in his communication, reliable in execution, and always positive with his team, which makes it so much easier to get work done.”
“Jayson has shown that he embodies all of our values in a short amount of time. Since day one, he has excelled in every task he's been assigned, shown empathy towards team members on projects, offered his help, and he made me laugh more times than I can count on the retreat! I'm so happy to have him on our team.”
Are you ready to update your website but unsure where to start? In our latest blog post, our marketing specialist Savannah, interviewed our Front-end Developer, Lisa, to learn more about the key differences between a website redesign vs. a refresh and how we recently used elements of both in a client project.
Icons are the visual language of the web. They're the little symbols representing everything from an image to a menu button, and they help users navigate your site. In this guide, our Product Designer, Jayson, explains how to design icons properly following industry best practices.
